Whisper of Love

She came to me in a dream one night The last time I dreamt I was only 10 She floated through my bedroom window with a smile and little to say, so beautiful She was. I lay still and solid like brick Afraid to speak and whispering a prayer In my head to God if its a dream only Please never wake me. My life in reality Only consist of an 9 to 5 job I hate And coming home to Netflix and Max My dog. She moved closer to me and kissed me With big beautiful full lips like a sliced peach Her skin of mahogany brown and soft like A rose petal. She whispered in my ear "I'm Your Love Story" Then she kissed me On my forehead and floated back to my Bedroom window, she turned back to me Whispering to me "Love is not an illusion" It's very real if you believe in fairy tales. I dreamed in a dream that very moment When I was a kid my mother read to me A book called Jasmine. A woman who spreads Love to the world because love heals all I remember how Jasmine looked from the Book. She looked like the whispering woman In my dreams, that now are dreams of love That I hold and take with me in reality Living in a world drowning in so much hate. Still praying to God daily if I ever have Another dream of love, Promise me You won't wake me.
