Whisper Eternal

As I wander through my life I find something lost.
Something I perhaps once had, but have now long forgot.

Only a glimmer of memory, in this most haunted place.
A sigh, a smile perhaps a look on your still shadowy face.

I look for you each place I go, sifting through haunted locations.
Piecing together what I can’t see hoping for this restoration.

What was it we had that continues to bind me?
If it’s been lost why does all of this remind me?

And of what…

I wouldn’t wish this if I’d had a choice.
Just a whisper of your former voice.

Will you be whole again? Will you find me here?
My whole life built so strangely because I knew you were near.

Is this what they call fate, or just all circumstance?
Led by your fleeting hand into paranormal romance.
