Whisper

I whimper a cry so low that no one notices.
He's taking my soul and chewing it into pieces.
   His hands flowing everywhere.
Quiet girls are weak and despicable.
At least that's what he taught me.
keep quiet he teased "like you always do"
All the while my bodies being torn.
Innocence fading but my mouth it stays shut.
    Some how I believed him.
        Staying quiet was my weakness.
There was nothing I could do.
I was mute since the day he took away all hope.
The day I was no longer a girl.
           After that I was numb.
Numb to his lies. Numb to his opinion.
After that day I became a woman.
I finally realized I was born to shout.
The next time he reach out to touch me
I kicked the bastard in his mouth. "Don't you ever touch me again" I shouted
Loudly. Proudly. I was no longer afraid. I would no longer be quiet.
