While You Still Have Time

If I had found you, Lying there, I wouldn't have known what to do. I'm lucky that you care. I would have screamed my head off, The air would have choked me. Seeing me lying next to the bed, I'm surprised you didn't flee. Run for the hills, While you still have time. I took all those pills, I committed a crime. I've caused you pain, But you've remained strong. You've remained sane, While I've done you wrong. Written on October 19, 2015
