Which Way

Which Way?
I come across a fork in the road
One way goes up, the other down
One is dark, stormy and scary
The other is bright, warm and nice
I need to decide, I need to decide
I’ve been down the hard road once
It was chaos, cold and death
Nothing good comes from
I’ve been down the nice road once
It was love, light and beauty
Only good comes from
I need to decide, I need to decide
I choose
I choose the dark
It is familiar

Interesting poem...why do people continue to choose the dark path when the other is so much better?
