Where's My Lunch, Mum

WHERE’S MY LUNCH, MUM?

Mum bird’s in nest:
Her small pest wants
Food lest it starve.

She says, you’d best
Fly due west - and
With zest and speed.

Chick says, this test
Is a jest - for
My rest is due.

Best ones I have seen yet. THese are extremely difficult to do as "witty sayings" but for your way of lining up sensible sentences, you truly excelled. and that last verse is quite witty indeed!

Wow, this than bauk really flows perfectly Syd! Seems like the chick's attitude is much in tune with today's youth. They want everything served up on a platter. How dare we suggest they work for it? Excellent entry! Best wishes in Dr. Ram's contest. Love, Carolyn
