Where You Went
The darkest shadow, crept up on you. It took you away, forever too soon. All the flowers
in the world, couldn’t pay respect. No one understood the cause and affect. No tears
fell down, until she stroked your hand. It was over before I could crawl away, and I
could never understand.
Why people have to go, where they go, I don’t understand. Why you had to leave, where
you had to go, I’ll never understand. I wish I could have gone in your place, I wish you
had the chance to stroke my face. Why you had to go, where you had to go, I’ll never
understand.
