Where You Are
I remember that day I left.
I decided to pack light for the road that lied ahead.
I opened my bag and put in faith, my love, as well as hope.
Then I turned and took those steps toward that door.
I slowly turned and took those steps toward that door.
I slowly turned the knob and opened the door.
As a tear flowed down my face it seemed like I've seen this road before.
But this road wasn't the one I walked before, it was so dark it seemed like I was blind and could not see.
Doubts and fears haunted me at every turn, and people mocked me every which way.
Though I couldn't see I heard a voice...it said "here go with me I'll show you the way."
Just then a calmness ran over me, and my doubts and fears went away.
The voice said "You put all your faith in me and I'll be here every step of the way .
With me as your eyes and your ears I'll get you to where you want to be.
I'm your strength when your in despair and with you when you seem all alone.
Even when you feel like your emotionally drained, look in your heart and you'll always see the way.
Stand firm in faith and don't lose hope, even when others call you a dope for feeling the way you fell.
You know what's in your heart and know what's real.
For now hold tight to your love and be on your way and know when you get to her and have her in your arms know that it was I GOD that has brought you to where you are."
