Where To Find a Smile

Being happy is found deep within ourselves... It can't be bought or found on a empty shelve... Nor can it be copied or stolen from another smile... It has to be built from the bottom up with a loving style... When it comes around hold it tight with respect and care... It can easily be swiped away from a life not fair... inspired by P.D.

Hold the smile tight with respect and care, since it can easily be swiped away from a life not fair.. Very true! As long as you can smile no need to worry about. Great writings, Michael. :) Being published is such a brightest bless from God, and having an inspiring friend keeps it shine brightly, that bless :)

Well said, and wise nuggets of truth in all the words. Love that line 'It has to be built from the bottom up with a loving style...', great end rhymes as always my friend, and a great poem.

Yes, sometimes life that is not fair can steal the smile but that inner joy will regain its bubble and come back up to host the smile upon the face again..Enjoyed reading very much..I am still thinking about my work "Yellow Frill"...I not exactly sure how to go about the finish for the poem..It is speaking to me but can't get a handle on it..Sara

good morning, I love having a reason to force myself to log on in the morning. I also enjoy that i inspired your reasonable poem. as far as happiness..i have it all... especially when it comes to faking the meaning of happiness.. I think that is one of my many talents.. holding a smile with no meaning. but, your right Michael, i can't imagine my life without. im a crazy skit Skat. I smile when there's no reason to smile. he he..thank you... pd
