Where Is the Hope
The walls that once stood firm and tall
Now lay crumbled and broken.
The once still waters that ran deep
Now flow shallow and bare.
The happiness that use to bestow
Now clings to its very existence
The tremendous light in the sky
Now seems to be a dark cloud of pain
The bitterness runs deep
As if a knife cut right though it
The once half full glass
Seems to be a glass half empty
The hands that use to give and share
Now clutch to life their every possession
The once colorful actions of experiences
Are now still gray memories of grief
The incredible power of the waves
Are now still powerless barrels
The Light Is Now Dark
And The Day becomes Night.
