Notes About The Poem

Lest we forget.

Where Is the Baby Jesus

Where is the Baby Jesus
By Franklin Price

Where is the baby Jesus?
After all, He is the reason.
Have we forgotten who He is
That Christmas is His season?

Are we so busy shopping,
For the presents and the tree,
That we don't kneel, to thank the Lord,
For sending Christ for you and me?

He was sent for our salvation
If only we believe
He'll save us from our sinful lives
For all eternity

Have modern times made us forget?
Do tech gifts take His place?
Have bright lights blinded us to Him
And all His love and grace?

Have a very Merry Christmas
May the season bring you cheer
Celebrate the day together
Just don't forget who brought us here

Yes and yes, it just aint right. Can't even say Merry Christmas, well, I can because political correctness is not spiritual effectiveness. We must find stillness in the busyness of Christmas and breathe quiet reminders of who we really are. This is a wonderful reminder to remember why and what we are celebrating. I truly enjoyed your poem. Be blessed ... CayCay
