Where Is My Sunshine

There’s a song I just remembered
You probably remember it too
It’s called You Are My Sunshine
It reminds me of my love so true.

When you and I parted
Is the day the clouds rolled in
My sunshine left me standing
Alone with darkness within.

Just like the song says
You don’t seem to know
Just what you mean to me
No matter how much I show.

You say that you love me
And you will be back someday
But how could you take my sunshine
And leave me with only the gray.

The sun, bright it may be shining
Outside for all to see
But in my heart is darkness
Without you is how it will be.

You need to come back to me
Bring my sunshine, make me alive
For now all I have is sadness
My soul cannot survive.
