Where is Beau

dog toys are all over the floor
stuffed carrot, chew lamb and two more
a tissue box torn into tiny bits
a round cracker or two from a box called Ritz
There is a black twig from our big oak tree
And a discarded squeaker from a stuffed chickadee
Where is Beau? The puppy who created this mess?
He is snuggled up on the bed, snoring away with cousin Jess.
