Where I Come From
11:50 AM 01 Oct. 2014
I come from the land of midnight dreams
Where nothing is exactly as it seems
Black is white and white is blue
A hat is a pot and a glove a shoe
The frogs have wings and fly high in the sky
And the clouds are ponds filled with fish beautiful to the eye
The horses run free and people pull the load
A prince when kissed turns into a toad
Where flowers sing
While church bells ring
Trees live on and never die
Where food comes free and the favorite is pie
Good is always good and evil is never found
Where the land has no fences because its all free ground
Where poems like this go on and on
In everyday speak and everyday song
