Where I Belong

Am I somewhere in the middle?
Am I someplace at the end?
Am I close to the beginning?
Can I be honest or must I pretend?

I can lie and say I’m comfortable,
When if feel I don’t fit in,
But I’d rather stay true to myself,
And let my conscience win.

I have my own individuality,
I have no need to fake it,
I know I can be anything,
My life is what I make it.

I know my place in this small world,
I know where I belong,
It’s at the top…I’ll be sky high,
Anywhere else would be wrong.
