Where Have You Gone?

Daddy where have you gone too?
Each time I look into your face
I don't see the man I once knew.
You and I were best friends,
but where has that all gone too?
We used to play hide-n-seek, in the dark
every time you would jump out and say boo.
Each time I see you I ask the same question;
Daddy where have you gone too?
Everytime I say, "Daddy lets ride the horse"
You reply with, "some other time"
My tears once again take their course
You act as though I had committed a crime
You look at me like you were ashamed
As you can see it is now time to ask again
Daddy where have you gone too?
