Where Eagles Fly

As each beat of our heart
Sends out warm glow

Wraps us in love
Full of spiritual flow

Stirring our senses
From head to toe

As the depth of our love
Through our souls gently flow

No need for words
We already know

The depth of this love
Forever grows

Lifting us high
Where eagles fly

On a blanket of love
In starry night sky

There's nothing better than reading a good romantic poem, Elizabeth, and this fine one that you wrote was a treat to read. I especially liked your final couplets that ended the poem on a very beautiful and poetic note. Thanks for your recent words on my poem, "Memories Of You." Best wishes, Carl.
