Where does my heart belong?

Looking into her eyes,
Standing feeling paralysed,
Waiting for her to realise,
The things I idealise.

Trying to show my love that is plentiful,
Being a friend fully dutiful,
Because her love is meaningful.

There's pain behind my smile,
But I'll never be hostile,
Always running the mile, so I can see her smile.

I love her but that is not returned,
No matter how much I yearned.
