Where Does Life Go Wrong
At only fourteen,
With the things that I've seen,
Ay, you'd think I were thirty!
The world makes me wonder and think,
From its knowledge do I drink,
But alas we know not everything!
So young with so many questions is trouble in wait,
I feel like I'm live bait,
Am I a worm, or a cricket run through?
A hook in my side,
By laws I abide,
How can we alter our strides?
One minute we're twelve,
Then we're at work- where we delve.
Ay me!
At only fourteen,
with the things that I've seen,
Ay, you'd think I were thirty!
