Where Do You Go When You Sleep
Where do you go when you sleep?
After dozing off, counting sheep.
Another place far, far beyond,
where you can cast a magic wand?
Are you a super hero or king perhaps?
In a world devoid of maps,
where you can swim, dolphin like,
and walk on clouds, on a hike.
Might the sun be green instead?
Do goblins sit upon your bed?
Maybe you live in a drain
pray every day it doesn’t rain?
Do mushrooms grow as big as trees
where the world is ruled by giant bees?
Where three moons fill up the sky,
made of salt, covered in rye?
A place where it snows every day
which the sun can never melt away?
Are you a witch or even wizard?
Concocting soups made out of lizards.
Maybe you’re a giant worm,
where underneath the ground you squirm.
Or an astronaut on planet Mars
where skies are full of airborne cars!
Maybe you’ve won the lottery,
gone on a massive spending spree.
A famous actor loved by many
or poor without even a penny?
Where do you go when you asleep?
After dozing off, counting sheep.
I know you might not want to tell
as it’s the same for me as well!
