Where Do Broken Hearts Go

Where Do Broken Hearts Go

Is It To Stars That Won't Shine Through
To Violets No Longer Blue
Heart Wrenched within You

Where Do Broken Hearts Go

To The Sun That Won't Shine Through
Skies That Aren't Blue
Darkness That Envelopes You

Where Do Broken Hearts Go

Into Arms That Won't Let You Through
Heart Pure And True Torn Cold And Blue
Yet Stolen From You

Where Do Broken Hearts Go

To Mountains That Won't Let You Through
Raging Sea That Only Stay Blue
Walls Put Up Against You

Where Do Broken Hearts Go

Back Home With Thoughts Flowing Through
Thoughts That Only Make You Blue
Where Heart Was Ripped From Within You

Where Do Broken Hearts Go
Where Do They Go

Hello SKAT, thank you for the welcome, I appreciate it. It’s an honor. You write amazingly yourself. Nice work! A little about myself, in a nutshell... I come from a line of internationally recognized poets, writers, film producers and activists. Mostly based in England and Nigeria. I escaped the hangman and was brought to the United States by the US States Department to safe my life, after going against the former Nigerian Islamic military dictatorship government. Currently working on a book about that experience. Poems, poetry and writing has been my first love since childhood, where I’ll naturally write raw, beautiful poems without understanding or studying the intricacies. I diverted and went into my other love, technology. Currently work for Lockheed Martin in Florida, in the Network Engineering arm of the IT industry. Getting back to my first love now, I found Poetry Soup, an awesome site. Thanks again for the welcome. So, what’s your story? :)

Nice release of emotions Andy. I like the use of enveloped. Another poet here uses it quite often when he speaks. Welcome to the SOup.
