Where Did It Go

When I look in the mirror at my figure, I wonder, where did it go? I once was lithe, with so much vigour, I wonder, where did it go? I once had a six pack instead of a keg, I wonder, where did it go? Biceps and triceps, strong in arm and leg, I wonder, where did it go? Eyes like a hawk and ears that could hear, I wonder, where did it go? Now it's, what's was that I didn't hear my dear, I wonder, where did it go? Now I'm at the age when my hormones don't rage, I wonder, where did it go> I think I've become another grey haired old sage. So really I no longer wonder where did it go, It is all still there, just hidden, by my old age. © Dave Timperley 15 August 2016.

I oft' tell our daughters take photo's , lots of photo's to capture the moment for it is but fleeting. We saw our children grow but we managed to capture our grandsons every year as they grew. Thanks for your comment DM. God Bless. D.
