Where Beauty Abides

Where beauty abides
The heart is at home
And love is enthroned
Ruling inside
The beauty’s unseen
Sparkling and clean
In light and repose
It doesn’t suppose
Where beauty abides
To friendship it’s bound
Living in light
It never takes sides
Always innocent new
Desired by all observed by few
Some think it’s not there
They see only dimly
And don’t seem to care
In beauty is strength
Order and power
It’s love that has made it
And perfected its hour
