Where Are You In History

Have you counted the cost?
Of all the time you lost
Do you know today?
To Him what you shall say
What more is there to know?
Before you decide to go
Is everything exposed in light?
Or do you walk in black and white
When winter comes where will you run?
When clouds have hidden all the sun
Nothing doubting all is well
He is coming, can you tell?
The Comforter is there to bless
Don’t let Him find a doubting mess
A home awaits those who choose
To be purveyors of good news
So bear the cross and do what’s right
There is for evil endless night
Don’t take refuge in the dark
Run the race and make your mark
When time on Earth has ceased to be
Where will you stand in History?
