Where Are You Going
I went out to take a walk in the lake
Laughed at by doughnuts and chocolate cake
Came back in and gave their trays both a shake
Doughnuts did fine, but now cake has a break.
Where are you going my husband asked me.
To walk in the lake or climb up that tree.
I did not want company, can you see?
Started back out at a quarter to three.
Changed my mind when I saw a bear out there.
He gave me the eye, a menacing stare.
You’re so wishy washy said husband Jer.
So I sent him outside with a lawn chair.
