Where Are You?

Where are you
Please take me back
I don’t want to go
Wherever they are taking me

They want me to believe
That you will never come
Tell me how I can do this
Tell me should I agree to it???

They are pulling me apart
Told me to lose my faith in you
I don’t want to go with them
I want to hold your hand and be with you…

Where are you
Please take me back
I don’t want to go
Wherever they are taking me

Whenever I close my eyes
I see your face
Whenever I dream at night
I feel myself in your arms

Tell me why I have to do this
Tell me why I have to believe them
Why can’t I be with you?
Why can’t everything be same?

Where are you
Please take me home
I don’t want to go
Wherever they are taking me

Hold my hands
Take me in your arms
Kiss me and make me feel better
Please save me from these harms

I don’t know
Is this the last time I am laughing
Coz they are taking me away
Without you I am really dying…

Coz I don’t know where you are
Will you take ever me home?
As I don’t want to go
I don’t know wherever they are taking me !

I like the use of the rhetorical question in this poem. It brings life to the poem and moves it along with critical thoughts. Welcome to Poetry Soup and keep writing. Blessings, Joseph
