Where Are You
Time does nothing
But wash away what’s clearer
Our world flipped upside down
And solitude nearer
Heart covered in frost bite
Lost eyes in the mirror
I return to my thoughts
And shed a thousand tears
I remain quiet
Not out of choice
But in order to listen
To my own inner voice
Cause when the tides get rough
Our safety raft is gone
Nothing is ever enough
How do we go on?
Now it seems time’s our enemy
Taking what’s left of our corpses
No sympathy or remorse
For our destiny
All I know now is I’m merely lost
Sinking in quicksand
Happiness tossed
Awake as a zombie
Afraid of the cold
Where are you Mom?
I’ve lost my life’s mould
