Where Are We Going?

Are we coming?
Are we staying?
Are we serious?
Are we playing?
This is so tedious.

We need an answer.
We need a question.
We need a relationship blessing.
We need to talk – not fight.
We need to hug- not act in spite.

Are we leaving?
Are we arriving?
Are we loving?
Are we conniving?
This is so dividing.

We need to be a we.
We need not to be he and she.
We need to see.
We need to just be.
We need to just be.

Coming not going.
Staying not leaving.
Serious not playing.
Loving not fighting.
Confiding not conniving.
Multiplying not dividing.

We should be growing,
Together.
Our faces should be glowing,
In love not hate.
Fate brought us together,
And by love,
We’ll be together forever.
