Where Am I Today?

Where am I today? 
Living someone elses' day 
Ten thousand stars......... 
Flicker........ 
Can life go any quicker? 
Wishing it all away 

Chasing tomorrow........ 
Forgetting yesterday 
Leaving you hollow 
on this day.......... 

The days 
Flicker past 
Ten thousand stars 
How long can they last? 

Where am I today? 
Living someone elses' day 
Spinning so fast 
Ten thousand stars 
Flicker past 

The stars shimmer 
My day 
The briefest glimmer 
Ten thousand days passed 
the days' last 

Where am I today? 
Spinning far......... 
I am the ten thousandth star............ 
Beginning the play 

For the briefest glimmer....... 
To see a star 
The ten thousandth one........ 
See it shimmer......... 
Then it is done
