When Your World Falls Down
In all my days I worry
I have nothing to offer you
Yet in such little time
You became the only person
That meant so much to me
When you’re all out of charming things to say
To where do the moments disappear
Try not to stand out so much
The things you learn as the days dismiss
When the music can no longer hold me
And your prayers can no longer lift me up
This piano shields my ugly voice
And when I fall asleep at night
I can still see you there
You should let me see the sun
And if something should happen to me
Well, I brought my hat and keys
In loving memory of
The voice of the ghost singing me asleep
When your world comes falling down
And you’re all out of charming things to say
To where do the moments disappear
Try not to stand out so much
The things you learn as the days dismiss
