When Your Life Begins

When everything you’ve known

Seems shattered and destroyed

And you don’t even know

Witch way to turn

The road you’ve always taken

Is foreign and unknown

You're among the crowd

Yet standing all alone

You see each passing hour

On your sleepless nights

You have lost direction

And what’s wrong or right

Dark clouds hang low

Your laughter’s gone

The battles never won

And in your mind the turmoil

Just keeps on raging on

My friend I know of someone

Who knew all the above

And he too had faced some battles

But he conquered them with love

He who knew no sin

Came to die for you

And he knows all about you

And all that you go through

So lay these burdens at his feet

Just leave them all with him

And when you fully trust his love
That’s when your life begins
