Every morning when I wake up in bed,
I find you lying next to my head.
I'm so thankful and happy to be me,
When you wake up next to me.
Oh, the happiness your face does bring,
Peace and love from my heart I sing,
when your face is the first thing I see.
When you wake up next to me.
Even when trials arise in our life,
and ire surfaces causing us strife,
I always find the troubles leave,
when you wake up next to me.
As our life continues to unfurl,
like a tapestry of life in a whirl,
I know all will be fine that I see,
As long as you wake up next to me.
Our life is happy, joyful and free,
we have everything that we need.
A house, cars, enough food to eat.
All is fine when you wake up next to me.
So, as we live our lives together,
and the years pass by forever,
I have no place I would rather be,
as long as you wake up next to me.
