When You Speak My Name

Your voice, the velvet Earth shattering voice, I hear when I listen to you, breaks my coldest winter and brings forth a sun beam again. I wait, hoping for a second that I can hear you calling. "Jesse" my body, stricken with chills, as I turn and look, at those beautiful eyes, red wine lips, and raven hair, I call back, "yes?" My mind boiling with anticipation on what I will hear next, quaking with endless thought, I finally hear, "I love you" my mind becomes awash with ways to respond, my strength wanes, and my eyes water, as I finally find the words, "I...I love you too,"
