When You Read Her Poems

You read her poems
And imagine women chattering
Around the old wooden table
Changing old men`s stories
By their ancient, deep knowledge
And their experience
You read her poems
And discover the secret magic
Of ordinary things-
Of the kitchen cupboard
Of the taste of coffee
On a sunny afternoon
You read her poems
And become more
Intimate with nature
You read her poems
And find the presence
Of loving and forgiving God
