When You Open Your Soul
Pull back from your four walls
Take a look at the world
All violence soon pawls
As man’s plans are unfurled
Vow your heart to expand
Beyond your selfish needs
Learn to reach out a hand
Full of love and good deeds.
It only takes one of us
To make one gesture a day
It’s so easy, no fuss
To show others the way
Altho you’re not wealthy
You can still make a change
Helping others, the key
As on your path you range
When you open your soul
Show the world that you care
When compassion’s your goal
You’ll find God is in there
Keeping Him at your core
And His mandates are done
HE will ask nothing more
And our world will be one.
