When You Left

When you left you took my heart, and life as I knew it just fell apart. The days they come and go so fast, they march right on...how will I last? Take each day...first one...then two, this is what I was told to do. It will get better my friends they say, I wonder when...it's not today. For when you left...I gave up hope. For others sake...I try and cope. They didn't know you this I feel, I hardly believe that this is real. Wake me up for surly I'm dreaming, those nights alone I wake up screaming.
