When You Just Smile

“When You Just Smile”

When you smile at me something lights up inside
With loving joy and laughter as our hearts collide

I know that we have rough spots but always see them through
And all I do is want you near and to spend eternity with you

I really do appreciate you in your gentle loving ways
This churning that’s inside me I will have through all my days
All the things you do for me your support when I have fallen
And how you have to yield to love when His firm hand comes to calling
I hope that I can always live up to what you need me to be
I know I try my hardest to make you proud of me

But I seem to be very human and always seem to stumble
For my goal is to love God and you and reside to being humble
I know my love for you will last more then just a while
And how my whole universe wakes up when you just smile
