When You Give To Another

When you give to another
  you take the greater reward
Give whatever you can
as much as you can afford

Seek opportunities for giving
  They're yours for the taking
You'll see what you've been missing

Nice thought. The pleasure of giving is not something everyone has figured out, but is almost like a food or a fuel that one needs once they do... keep writing! enjoying reading, C.A.

Thanks for the insightful truth about giving. It becomes addictive, in the positive sense of that word. Thanks, C.A. :) gw

Great advice. If everyone took it, looking for opportunities to give, it would reinvent the world.

Hello Gershon … the reward for giving is a smile and knowing the appreciation is greater than the gift - thanks again Gershon - Lindsay

The need leads to the deed, and then to the smile of love. Thanks, Alexis. :) gw

Splendid, Gershon! St Paul, The Psalmist or Proverbs could not have expressed it better! Another "proverbial" adage from the Master of Adage! Bob

So true Gershon, its better to give than receive, it makes someone's day and gives you a great feeling of satisfaction. Tom
