When You are Old
When you are old and all hair has turned grey
It`s fitting over books of youth to leaf,
Summon back your summer shine without grief
And picture how time has fast flown away.
When you are old and the limbs are weary
It`s fair over your youthful days to stream,
Vision your charm and love as in a dream,
Rewind nights when sky and stars were cheery.
Yet it`s also rightful to dream ahead,
Greet the coming days with smiles on the face,
Make a plea to the Lord to rain His grace
And all along your way His light to spread.
