When Will Your Heart Be Ready

When will your heart be ready 
I see when we’re together 
Your smile wants a forever 

When will your heart be ready
Your soul longs to fly again
But you continue to dwell on then

When will your heart be ready
There’s still sadness in your eyes
It shows you need more time

When will your heart be ready
To accept new love inside
I wonder of this at times

When will your heart be ready
For if it connects to mine
You’ll be with me all the time

When will your heart be ready
I want you to know I care
Of that you should be aware

When will your heart be ready
I know that you still cry
You need to take your time

When will your heart be ready
I don’t know how to tell you fine
For your heartache is not mine
