When We'Re Apart
When we're apart,
each hour seems like a day
and if I listen to my heart,
it tells me what I must say
That I miss you,
with all of my being
and that I need you,
just as I need my eyes for seeing
That I love you,
as I've never loved before,
that I want you,
to care for, to hold and adore
When we're apart,
each day seems like a year
and if I listen to my heart,
it tells me that you must hear
That you have filled
my life with love again,
you've healed my heart
and soothed my pain
That you make me smile
and laugh and sing,
that you've changed my life
to one worth living
That I thank you for
the love you share
and that I miss you
more than I can bear
