When We Met

WHEN WE MET

When we met it was the start
As new plants send shoots to the sky
I offered my arms, wanting her to tie
My strands closely to her heart

She received my offer warm
Folded my leaves and flower
With all her feminine power
Proceeded to me transform

Of troubled roots we were devoid
Symbiotically we were interwoven
Our green differences all forgiven
A stronger growth our love enjoyed
