When We Get There

There on the golden street
All the saints will meet
Where all tears will be wiped away
With lives never to be in disarray
One person will call another with joy
As when a child so delights in his toy

We shall forever be free from fear
As our Shepherd will always be near
Nothing shall we do in a hurry
For we shall dwell without worry
We shall enjoy heavenly inheritance
Just because of Christ's importance

A perfect life shall we enjoy
Like a favoured and esteemed envoy
None of our sorrows will ever remain
When we appear in God's domain
God in His presence we shall abide
Where our needs He will forever provide
