When We Fail To Appreciate Words of Wisdom

When we fail to appreciate the gift of words,
We act unwisely. 

When we fail to appreciate the gift of speech,
We devalue it.

When we fail to appreciate the gift of the written word,
We write it off.

But when we fail to teach others the importance of these gifts, 
We fail more than one generation,
And take away,
Their Hope,
Their passion,
Their dignity,
Their sense of joy,
Their sense of achievement,
Their ability to communicate,
Their ability to form relationships,
Their ability to earn,
Their ability to learn,
Their path to wisdom before they end up in an earn.

Words of wisdom usually fall on death ears of our youth and some learn from their mistakes and change others just keep on keeping on the wrong path. I was an Early Childhood teacher for 30 years and I am amazed How many ECE teachers who don't like reading when it is an essential part of the job to read and tell stories with passion to preschoolers.
