When We Are One

He smiles, and all the stars are called to attention.
They flicker and fade, but he is here to stay.
He laughs, and the wind rushes in ecstasy.
It weakens and slows, but he still glows.
When we are one, the world is an easier place to be.
You are my sleepless nights,
My hidden delights,
The reason my heart dances in fright
And love.
