When Violins Weep

such longing, such loving
sweet violins sing
where have you gone?
my true love, my light
violins ~ cry
my soul to sleep
forever in memories
my broken heart weeps

Violins are the most revered instruments of all, other than harp. And in this poem, your violins speak more than words!...

Yes, violins have that sad, beautiful, melancholy sound and I always have a tear when I hear them.. Well done.

Beautiful reflection on the sad and lonesome cry of the violin. Your message is so clear in each line. My son actually called me to tell me that he has a concert tonight at the highschool as I was reading this... he plays first string in his orchestra, the violin of course. Very cool timing, anyway thought I would share...LOL Great writing! Smiles from Lolita

Very poignant write here, James. I tried to get serious with this one but all I remember is the screeching sound of violin practice ... LOL ... sorry ...

Phenomenal write, so few words to show such emotion and what seems like a heart wrenching time. I loved it though....Aleera

There is nothing wuite like the internal sounds of the violin. it can set a singing heart alight and dancing; feeling more than anything else. amazing. love, Kristin

You express the pain of loss so beautifully, James. Violins do, indeed, seem to weep in a sad symphony of the heart. Well done! Love, Carolyn

Sonatas by Bach, nothing more soothing in my opinion, Don't know if it will mend but it can't hurt. You write well my friend. Thanks for the commentary it is most appriciated, -Always Alexandra
