When They Spoke
Happiness is waving goodbye,
smiling.
Grief makes another promise
to return.
Hesitation even agrees.
But Regret is nudging me.
Love says:
you had too much.
And Hate—
for once—
is silent.
Loneliness says:
you are not alone.
