When the Time Will Come

When the time will come and you realize
Believe me that I always will be there
Just close your eyes for a sec and look behind
I will be there standing waving my hand with smile
I know till then as well you’d never trust on me
Hope is all I have even it’s a blind one to see

And will you not realize will you not regret
Yes my dear I surely will it’s not a script of fate
We had the bow had the arrow we surely were on game
But my dear the problem was we never took an aim
And the reason I left was for you my love not for me
It was you who could not imagine a future on me

But I was a puppet and as my master you were
The way you moved the way wanted the way it was for me
It was your hand it was your wish which stone you’d pick
I understand my dear with stone in hand why you would pick a brick
I don’t blame you because it was my own mistake as you said
Believe me dear my love for you; ill take it to my deathbed

Very well written my friend! A poignant piece full of longing and regret. Best wishes, Keith
