When the Last Trumpet Blows

WHEN THE LAST TRUMPET BLOWS

WHEN THE LAST TRUMPET BLOWS ON EARTH
WILL YOU BE READY AND WAITING TO GO.
WILL YOUR GARMENTS BE SPOTLESS WHITE
LIKE THE FIRST FALL OF SNOW.

WHEN GOD IS READY TO OPEN UP HIS BOOK
WILL YOUR NAME BE WRITTEN THERE,
TELL ME MY FRIEND,DO YOU BELIEVE IT
OR DO YOU NOT EVEN CARE.

BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR FAMILY LEFT BEHIND
WOULD YOU NOT WANT THEM IN,
                    GODS SWEET GLORIOUS HEAVEN
WHERE THERES NO TRACE OF SIN.

WHO IS WILLING TO PRAY FOR THEM
                    THAT PRECIOUS DAUGHTER OR SON,
IF YOU DONT PRAY ON THEIR BEHALF
THEIR SOUL MAY NEVER BE WON.

                     WHEN THE LAST TRUMPETS SOUNDS
THE MERCY DOORS WILL THE CLOSE,
THE PLEADING OR TEARS WONT MATTER
ITS RIGHT NOW THE MERCY FLOWS.

OH COME TO THE FOUNTAIN ,DONT DELAY
                   JESUS IS WAITING FOR YOU,
TO GIVE YOU SUCH PEACE WITHIN
AND MAKE YOUR LIFE BRAND NEW.

This is a question that I often ponder because I have done things that a man just should not do - i found the Lord in Prison and my life changed in every way - I reckon today I'm ready - great poem - God Bless, MJ
