When the Flow Stops
I like peace
I don't like dissension
Upsetting apple carts
Is never my intention
Sometimes things disturb me
I try not to let this show
My emotion to other people
Why Go with the flow
Even though I like harmony
I don't seek peace at any price
The expression " Go with the flow"
To me, not very nice
To agree with everything
Just to give one ease
And to be subservient
So this will appease
Yourself and others
Who don't seem to want to know
About the problems that occur in life
So they say "Go with the flow"
Flowing conjures up
A picture in my mind
Of a flowing river
Or a brook of some kind
Rivers and brooks
That wind and bend
All finish somewhere
Then come to a sudden end
So the flow is stunted
Stunted things no longer grow
So problems need to be addressed
Please don't go with the flow
